Angle Midwest meetings are held annually. Meetings occur over a 4-5 day period and serve the following purposes:
- They provide a format for continuing education in Orthodontics
- They encourage the ethic of excellence by requiring periodic participation of individuals in the demonstration of clinical skills and involvement in research projects
- They help bridge the gap between the post graduate clinical practice of Orthodontics and the education of future Orthodontists
- They provide a collegial setting for the exchange of thoughts
- By continually bringing in new members, they provide an incentive for members at all levels to remain at the "cutting edge" of Orthodontics as a specialty
- They provide a setting for the conductance of business and Board of Directors meetings
